This week I gave the final draft of The Sleeping Angel to my editor for proofreading, so I’m taking a couple of days off to enjoy the sunny weather and work in the garden. And tomorrow I shall be singing a concert entitled Angel Song with The City of Oxford Choir in the magnificent surroundings of Merton College Chapel.
We will be opening the concert with the haunting and ethereal Song for Athene by the English composer John Taverner. It’s so beautiful that I thought I would share a recording of it here. It is sung by the choir of King’s College, Cambridge, and the music is accompanied by some stunning photography. Relax and enjoy!
